[SDH/SEMI Members] yet another, corrected, Call for Papers

Dear patient, forgiving colleagues,

Attached to this note please find the correct version (I hope I've got  
it right this time) of the Call for Papers for the 2009 SDH / SEMI  
conference at Carleton University, Ottawa.

I feel obliged to apologize especially to our francophone colleagues  
for my error, and to the conference committee member who provided the  
French version of the CFP attached to this note and that should have  
gone out a few days ago.  I inadvertently sent out an early draft that  
had my own dictionary-constructed French, rather than the competent  
French which you will find in the version attached here.

I apologize to everyone, but especially to those whose first language  
is French.  It was an inadvertent mistake, for which I hope you'll  
accept my apology.

PS In case you wonder why I composed a document with incompetent  
French when we ask those who are fluently bi-lingual to translate for  
the final product, I did so last year and this for two reasons.   
First, I don't want what little French I understand to slip away  
through complete misuse, and second, I think using a dictionary as I  
do enables me at least to compose a version that gives me an idea of  
how the length in one language compares to the other.
